  • How long?

    About 1 minute to inflate your lantern after ignition with a lighter, then enjoy the show for 10 to 15 minutes (depending on size and weather). When the fuel is extinguished, the temperature aircommence to fall and the lantern began its descent toward the ground slowly, like a parachute.

  • All lanterns celestial worth?

  • Security

    Before ignition, familiarize yourself with the lantern.

    ThaiSkyLamps believes that ensuring the security has the highest importance.

    Make sure it is unfolded, the paper is not wrinkled or stuck in a corner. It is always the responsibility of the launcher to use the product safely and to verify these points.

    Control the direction and wind speed (must be less than 15 kmh), making sure that there is no obstacle on the path.

    Do not let go of lanterns within 10 km of an international airport, or near a fuel depot or near a high voltage power line.

    Avoid: land around dry crops, proximity to tall buildings or trees.

    Avoid areas where it could be interpreted as a distress signal as the high seas for example.

    Do not use lanterns under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Wear low flammability and stick to your body.

    In case of releasing a significant quantity, make sure you have a source of extinction to reach your hand (or water extinguisher).

    Make sure you are in compliance with local and national regulations on where you perform the release (in many European countries, regulation is similar to balloon releases).

    A large space with clear sky is more responsive, and you enjoy the best of your lanterns and entertainment they provide for long moments.

  • I need tools?

    In any case, because our heavenly lanterns are delivered flat in a protective box that also contains instructions for use. Easy to use, they require no assembly tool. For ignition, it is advisable to be two people, one to hold the lantern at the top, the other for igniting fuel at the bottom.

  • You can attach them to the ground?

    Not at all. You can also use that outside. It is prohibited to hang items. Remember that the main interest of a lantern to see away poetically in the sky.

  • I can travel with?

    If you want to fly, our heavenly lanterns containing no explosives, just pack them carefully in your suitcase travel baggage. If you have any doubt, check with the service control of your airport.

  • I do not harm the environment?

    No, because unlike the pyrotechnics, the sky lanterns are made of only biodegradable materials. This follows the planet.

  • What weather?

    By day and night, clear skies and a very open space will give you the best show. The use of lamps is not recommended in rainy weather (you will be wet) and winds exceeding 15 km / h.

  • When should I be delivered?

    ThaiSkyLamps has agreements with major names in transit. By post, count typically 2 to 3 days to receive your package in metropolitan France.

  • My payment is confidential?
